### What Does That Even Mean?

I have to confess....When I first heard this analogy, I had absolutely no idea what our Medical Director was saying. 

"Analytics" is currently a buzzword in many industries. In the Benefits Consulting world we are increasingly using stand-alone analytical tools to help our clients move beyond the reactive and decision making cycle that is the norm in our industry today.

In contrast to the traditional model of relying on insurance carrier or TPA reporting, our consultants using new analytical tools are able to provide businesses real-time actionable insights into their employee benefits spend and how to manage and design a better plan for their employees.
