Recent changes to the Cadillac Tax give employers needed time to get ahead of the curve. 

While the deferral of the Cadillac Tax until 2020 gives employers breathing room, don't go in without a plan. Who will be affected?

Sr. White House Advisor David Axelrod was quoted in 2009 stating that the tax was "An excise tax on executives at Goldman Sachs"*

In reality the tax will hit a higher percentage of state and local government employers - like schools and police departments - than finance firms.**
